My name is Danielle Du Plessis (although everyone calls me Danny) and I am born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. I come from a relatively small but close-knit family, where I am the oldest of two siblings. I have known for a very long time that counselling and the practice of psychology is my life's "calling" and passion. I have studied extensively for 9 years and achieved my Masters degree in Psychology. During my study tenure, I had the privilege of working at a NGO as well as the Psychiatric department at Groote Schuur Hospital. I have been running my private practice since 2018, counselling in many spheres including depression, anxiety, relationship counselling, grief counselling, anger management, career guidance and many more. Together with my qualifications MA (Psychology) and experience, I'm looking forward to making a difference and to really helping people be the best they can be.
